Happy No-Guilt Thanksgiving…..

Well, it’s official.  Thanksgiving will be here before you know it and Christmas is right around the corner.  We know that we might indulge a little bit more than we should around this time of year.  Heck, it probably already started with Halloween candy.  I came across a brilliant way to attack the possibility of overflowing holiday plates of yummy foods.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to post ways to work around the regret of overeating so that you can enjoy your holiday favorites-and I don’t mean cookies at Christmas.  Let’s work on Thanksgiving first!

If you just have to have cranberry sauce, here’s a way to control your portions:

1.  Go for a big scoop of that savory sauce!

2.  If you still want desert, only portion out a SLIVER!

3. Match your portions of stuffing, potatoes, and skinless WHITE meat to the size of your smart phone!

4.  If you would like to add gravy, only add a shot glass!
